Abstract<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The study was focused on the Role of Health Information Management in Primary Healthcare Delivery system: A case study of Abak Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. The research adopted a descriptive survey design and simple random sampling technique using simple percentage for data analysis.<\/p>\n

The population is made up of 150 sample size. A set of questionnaire was used to obtain data and 130 copies were retrieved out of 150 copies administered.<\/p>\n

The finding revealed that Role of Health Information Management in Primary Healthcare Delivery System ensures healthcare facilities with the highest standard of data integrity and security.<\/p>\n

Therefore the researcher on conclusion of the study recommended that there should be; employment of trained Health Information Managers at the grassroots level for proper registration and documentation of patient record or Health Information.<\/p>\n
