Olabisi Onabanjo University OOU is a state university in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria, in the southwestern part of the country. Also, Ogun State is Nigeria’s only state with two state-funded institutions.

In 1982, the University laid its foundation. Olabisi Onabanjo University is non-denominational and hence accepts students from all religions and cultural backgrounds.

The university has a sizable student body with a moderate or relatively diverse religious background. The university provides bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in sciences, social science, education, law, engineering, and medicine, and admission is extremely hard.

OOU Admission Requirements 2022

Admission to an OOU Undergraduate Program is based on one of two entry methods: UTME or Direct Entry.

UTME candidates must achieve the following standards in order to be admitted to Olabisi Onabanjo University OOU in 2022:

1. Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

2. Candidates must have a minimum of six (six) “Cs (Credits)” in their O’level results (s). This must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other topics relevant to their program. A candidate who wishes to study law, for example, must have a “C” in English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, Economics, and English Literature.

3. Candidates must have a minimum score of 200 on the JAMB UTME examination.

4. Candidates must take the OOU post-UTME screening examination and perform very well in it (Depending on the course of study)

5. For admission to Olabisi Onabanjo University OOU, just ONE sitting result is accepted (OOU)

6. Candidates must select the appropriate subject mix for their courses.

7. in order to secure admission, students must achieve the required cutoff marks for their courses.

OOU Direct Entry Admissions Requirements

1. Candidates who seek to enter Obafemi Awolowo University (OOU) through direct entry must complete the following requirements:

2. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits in their O’level results to be considered. This must contain English as a second language as well as math. Two sitting results are not permitted.

3. Candidates must also be at least 16 years old.
