Admission Requirements for UNIPORT Courses

Admission Requirements for Social Sciences and Administration
The requirements are the same as for Art students:
1. you must have at least 5 credits in Mathematics, English, Economics, Accounting, and Biology, either in WAEC (West African Examination Council) or NECO (National Examination Council) (National Examination Council).
2. Candidates must get this credit passes in only two sittings, and please note that you can combine WAEC and NECO results for entrance purposes; however, the results must not be over two years apart.

Admission Requirements for Science, Medicine/Pharmacy and Engineering/Technology Students
To be considered for admission to UNIPORT, candidates must achieve the following results:
1. All applicants must have at least 5 credits in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Technical Drawing (Engineering Students) in either WAEC (West African Examination Council) or NECO (National Examination Council) (National Examination Council).
These must be completed in only two sittings. You can combine your WAEC and NECO results, but they must not be over two years apart.
2. The school’s cut-off mark is 180, which implies that in order to be eligible for the UNIPORT post-UTME or screening, you must have a JAMB score of at least 180 to be considered for internal screening at the University of Port-Harcourt.
